Talk about a sugar rush!
It’s been a fantastic day for Tamworth, thanks to the organisation of Spudman, Bookers and the various influencers on the scene like mealswithmaxx for the 1500 free spud day! As one of the characters of the Spudman extended cinematic universe we were so pleased to get so many people excited to try dessert at ours. With our supply of Kola cubes and bubblegum bottles decimated almost instantly – we can’t deny it wasn’t a challenging day! Our thanks to everyone who waited hours for a spud only to hop into yet another queue.
Whenever we walk past an empty lot in town our first thought is always how there’s still so much potential in Tamworth town centre (even if going back to being a busy market town proves to be a little difficult!) and it’s awesome to see that people are flocking to something money can’t buy – and no, that’s not a reference for the spuds being free – it’s personality! Tamworth has a whole lot of it, whether it’s Ben’s unwavering good cheer, the absolute ton of pubs that each have their own character, beautiful Saint Editha’s, the cafes which I’m not allowed to rank via quality of the English Breakfast because I don’t want to make anyone jealous…
